Led by a 15-year-old entrepreneur, Paragon Pastures was founded as a small hobby-scale operation, transitioning into professional production.
At Paragon Pastures, our mission is to provide our community with a reliable source of hearty pastured protein and artisanal staples.
We currently offer high-quality multi-colored pastured chicken eggs and premium pastured duck eggs from our flock of rare, heritage Ancona ducks.
Seasonally, we also offer heritage Ancona ducklings for local pickup to help others start their own sustainable home flocks.
While we are not formally certified, our daily practices often exceed standard industry requirements. We are proud to offer products that are:
100% Hormone & Antibiotic Free: We never use growth hormones, steroids, or routine antibiotics in our livestock.
Pasture-Raised: Our animals spend their days outdoors with plenty of space to roam, graze, and express their natural behaviors.
Humane Handling: We prioritize low-stress handling techniques and provide enriched environments to ensure our animals thrive.
Note on Feed: To keep our products accessible to our local community, we use high-quality conventional feed. Because this feed is not certified organic, we do not label our products as "Organic" or "Naturally Grown," but we maintain a strict "no-drug" policy for the health of our animals and our customers.
