A. Our fresh eggs are much fresher than store-bought eggs. They can last up to 3 months in the fridge.
A. Most of our eggs are collected nest-clean and will be fine for a couple weeks on the counter. However, we recommend refrigerating eggs for optimum freshness and quality.
A. Please use the provided order form to request eggs. Once we receive your request, we will reach out to you via email or text to confirm availability and schedule either a bicycle delivery (within 1 mile) or an on-farm pickup time. We also offer a weekly subscription option if you'd like to guarantee a fresh dozen is waiting for you every week!
A. Our subscribers get first priority on our freshest eggs! We’ll simply set a recurring weekly time for your bicycle delivery or on-farm pickup. You can pause or cancel anytime by letting us know 24 hours in advance.
A. We currently do not offer online payments. All payment will be in-person, either when we arrive for delivery or when you come to pick up. We can accept cash, check and venmo.
A. For our hens (chicken and duck) pasture-raised means they have daily access to the outdoors and to clean native pasture. They benefit from sunshine, bugs and tender shoots, but how much feed they garner from forage depends on the season.
A. To keep prices affordable for local customers, Paragon Pastures utilizes conventional, nutritionally balanced poultry feed. This mainly consists of grains, legumes, vitamins and minerals. However, our hens have access to natural forage, which tremendously contributes to their health and the quality of their eggs.
A. No, our eggs are not organic. To keep prices low for our customers we do not feed our hens an organic diet. However, we are committed to no antibiotics or hormones and we never use chemicals on the pastures where our hens forage.

A. Our free-range flock is composed of diverse breeds, including heritage birds. Each breed lays a different size and color egg, contributing to our colorful egg cartons.
A. Yes, we appreciate customers returning our cartons to keep the price of our eggs as low as possible, please make sure they are clean and dry. However, we cannot accept cartons from other producers or brands, for branding and sanitation reasons.
